When you do research, you're locating information that helps support your ideas. That information may come from a variety of sources, including books, articles, websites, interviews with your Professor, etc. Whenever you include information from a source--an idea, a phrase, a quote--you must give credit to the source by citing it in your work. "Citing" a source means that you state where you found the information so that others can find the exact same information.
